Scania Nederland B.V. is seeking a workshop technician in Baja California, Mexico. The role supports technicians with vehicle maintenance or repair, ensures correct stamping of completed work, and helps guarantee a smooth process flow by confirming when tasks are finished.

Duties include checking tools and parts, visual vehicle inspections, managing deviations, preparing vehicles, retrieving information from the system, and assisting with follow-up on improvement plans.

Responsabilidades

• Check availability of tools and parts to be used, retrieve them from the warehouse.
• Check availability of maintenance information.
• Ensure application of work methods.
• Perform visual inspections of the vehicle.
• Manage any deviations that arise.
• Wash parts and components.
• Start the work order.
• Prepare the vehicle or component.
• Search for information in the system.
• Perform maintenance.
• Finalize stamping.
• Clean the work area and return used tools.
• Finalize work order.
• Communicate to the workshop manager that the assignment is finished.
• Communicate deviations.
• Propose solutions.
• Follow up on established improvement plans.
