To ensure the correct industrialization of new processes and products, implementation of new technologies and automation related to them, as well as output fulfillment versus planning requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the introduction of new product processes, design production line layouts, and achieve production capacity (setting product working hours, determining and evaluating production and capacity).
- Introduce new equipment, processes, and products for mass production, including design improvements (DFX suggestions) during the preliminary review of new products.
- Provide technical support for product production to ensure smooth operations. Drive process improvements and innovations to enhance automation levels on production lines.
- Design Work Instruction Files (WIF) and Process Flow Charts.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methods to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
- Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and propose preventive measures.
- Design and improve fixtures to facilitate operator operations, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality.
- Provide product quotation services to customers.
- Utilize tools such as VTS, I4, and other corporate tools.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of PIE experience in large-scale EMS, electronics, or medical equipment industries, with proficiency in IE methods.
- Strong teamwork skills.
