Job summary

HSBC is seeking a senior Treasury professional to lead the development and execution of the TSG practice with a market-facing focus in Mexico. You will engage with Corporate Treasurers, influence strategic roadmaps, and work with cross-functional teams to optimize treasury and working capital processes.

You will represent HSBC in external forums, develop training programs, and drive thought leadership on liquidity, payments, FX and platforms used across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in Treasury.
• Established treasury expert with experience in corporates and multinationals in Latin America.
• Consulting and/or implementation experience of treasury setup, centralisation, standardisation, and treasury systems.
• End-to-end experience in liquidity, funding, FX, hedging and investment management in multi-entity environments.
• Experience defining risk appetite, budgets, working capital metrics and treasury policies using data-driven methods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meet Corporate Treasurers at a strategic level and shape their treasury transformation roadmap.
• Work with clients to improve treasury and working capital processes via relationship teams.
• Enable pre-sales engagement to position our treasury solutions.
• Develop treasury review frameworks, gap analyses, and playbooks to scale TSG practice.
• Collaborate with partners to develop benchmarking tools and data-driven diagnostics.
• Create best-practice treasury materials and train frontline teams.
• Represent GPS/HSBC in external forums, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
