A global financial advisory firm in Mexico is seeking a professional in treasury operations to manage cash flow and inter-company settlements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of treasury experience, demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills. Formación

  • Minimum of 3 years of treasury experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of accrual basis accounting.
  • Willingness to participate in multiple areas of tax.
  • Interest in basic tax research and foreign country tax regimes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail and strong analytical ability.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage the cash flow file.
  • Compile invoices for approval.
  • Prepare account analysis reconciliation.
  • Open and close bank accounts and coordinate signor updates.
  • Prepare all FBAR filings.
  • Coordinate bank account signor updates with banks and legal teams.
  • Track and settle inter-company receivables and payables.

Day-to-day activities
  • Actualize and manage the cash flow file
  • Ensure all cash transfers have appropriate documentation/reasons
  • Compile invoices and provide settlement proposals for approval
  • Initiate wires related to inter-company settlements
  • Track and settle inter-company receivables and payables
  • Prepare account analysis reconciliation for Treasury related accounts
  • Open and close bank accounts
  • Coordinate bank account signor updates with the banks and legal teams
  • Prepare all FBAR filings
Essential Traits
  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
  • A minimum of 3 years of treasury experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of accrual basis accounting
  • Demonstrate interest in basic tax research.
  • Willingness to participate in multiple areas of tax, including foreign country tax regimes
  • Proven ability to utilize standard business (MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of tax (research and compliance) and accounting software applications a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience writing tax memoranda preferred a plus.
  • A self-starter, detail oriented, possess strong quantitative and analytical skills and strong organizational Skills
