We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead our Quality Engineering team, focusing on driving quality excellence, problem-solving, and process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the activities of Quality Engineers, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Monitor and follow up on Quality Engineers' activities, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes.
Problem Solving
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives, applying methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.

- Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve quality processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to achieve quality and productivity gains.
Quality Metrics and Reporting
- Track and analyze quality metrics, including customer claims, reworks, and scrap.
- Provide regular reports to management on quality performance and initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Quality System Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and maintain documentation.
- Identify opportunities for quality system improvements and implement changes.
- Review and update Control Plan/PFMEA based on manufacturing process and customer claims, and implement APQP and Core Tools processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role, with 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with experience applying methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Certification in quality engineering (CQE, etc.) or Six Sigma is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Chillers Products or similar industries (HVAC, refrigeration, etc.)
- Familiarity with advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control.
- Experience with quality management system implementation and maintenance.

Quality Engineer
Responsible to meet Supplier Quality Metric (PPM’s) through effective corrective actions related defective raw material from External Suppliers using SMRR’s on IRIS System. Certify Key Suppliers to reduce Inspection time and assure the quality on the source if required take the lead for onsite audit. Responsible to expedite defective raw material on Hold Location. Coordinate Supplier Quality reviews with Corporate Supplier Quality Chain on main Suppliers affecting Metric.

How you will do it
