MISSION

Maintain production lines in optimal operating condition by executing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance orders on electromechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, as well as addressing operational failures in plant systems and equipment. Continuously improve production processes by automating and optimizing them through specialized programming software to achieve excellent Mechanical Efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electronic inspection equipment
    • To maintain 100% availability and operability of inspection systems, as they are critical to the production process.
    • Review the operational performance of the equipment.
    • Execute assigned preventive maintenance orders.
    • Conduct visual inspections to detect possible physical damage.
    • Inspect operational parameters to maintain accurate diagnostics.
    • Prepare detailed reports of activities performed during the work shift.
    • Clean tools and work area after use.
    • Perform predictive maintenance tasks.
    • Power down machines after production department operations conclude.
  2. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on bottle coding equipment
    • To ensure 100% functionality and availability of bottle coding systems, as they are critical process components.
    • Review operational status of the coding equipment.
    • Execute preventive maintenance according to schedule.
    • Conduct visual inspections for potential physical damage.
    • Inspect parameters to maintain proper diagnostics.
    • Prepare activity and maintenance reports.
    • Clean equipment and work area upon completion.
    • Carry out predictive maintenance tasks.
    • Power down equipment after production activities are complete.
  3. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electronic control panels
    • To guarantee 100% operational availability of control systems and ensure the optimal performance of machinery.
    • Review the operating condition of control panels.
    • Execute assigned maintenance orders.
    • Conduct visual inspections for physical damage.
    • Inspect parameters for diagnostic efficiency.
    • Prepare detailed work reports.
    • Clean all tools and work areas used.
    • Generate and periodically back up PLC programming.
    • Shut down machines after production operations end.
  4. Attend Autonomous Production (AP) team meetings
    • For results review and planning of new maintenance and production support activities.
    • Review AP team performance indicators.
    • Present and discuss machinery‑related issues.
    • Generate and follow up on action plans.
    • Plan significant and weekend maintenance tasks.
  5. Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, safety, and environmental regulations
    • Quality and Food Safety:
      • Stay updated on all regulations and standards that impact ARCA Continental’s Quality Assurance Model.
      • Reduce environmental impact in all operations through efficient use of natural resources such as water, electricity, and LP gas.
      • Protect natural soil by segregating all chemical waste in properly identified containers and ensuring appropriate final disposal.
      • Minimize environmental impact by correctly managing waste — separating non‑hazardous (trash, sludge, recyclables) from hazardous waste (grease, oil, solvent residues) — ensuring proper handling, transport, and disposal in accordance with the MIR system and the temporary hazardous waste warehouse.
    • Safety:
      • Be responsible for informing the Food Safety Management Team about any issues affecting the Food Safety Management System.
      • Support the Industrial Safety Department in implementing the safety management system within the bottling plant, including resource allocation.
      • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety measures in designated work areas.
      • Execute all procedures related to the safety management system.
  6. Collaborate in Company and Group Programs and Projects
    • Actively participate in all implemented programs and initiatives.
    • Comply with requirements for the proper use, optimization, and conservation of resources (electricity, water, gas, etc.), raw materials, supplies, packaging, tools, finished products, and waste.
    • Comply with programs related to Quality, Order and Cleanliness, BHM’s, Safety and Health, Ecology, and Food Safety.
  7. Comply with the Management System and Continuous Improvement System
    • Document, implement, maintain, and enhance the Management and Continuous Improvement Systems.
    • Communicate, comply with, and ensure adherence to all procedures and operational controls described in the Management System documentation (manuals, procedures, visual aids, etc.) applicable to your process.
    • Propose and suggest improvements to Management Systems (Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, and Safety) and Continuous Improvement.
    • Follow all legal and regulatory requirements applicable to your process, including environmental, safety, quality, and food safety standards.
    • Notify immediate supervisor of any environmental performance anomalies or identified risks.
    • Participate in the identification of Environmental Aspects or Hazards and the evaluation of Environmental Impacts and Risks (when required).
    • Propose operational controls (as needed) to control, mitigate, or eliminate environmental impacts and safety risks.
    • Consult and apply the Emergency Plan document in case of spills.
    • Use all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
  8. Comply with the Internal Work Regulations, Code of Ethics, and Performance Improvement Program (PMD)
    • Adhere to all corporate policies, rules, and instructions issued by the company and the group.
  9. Promote and maintain a positive work environment
    • Foster strong interpersonal and working relationships across all departments (EMC, EEC, EQAPS, etc.).
    • Treat contractors, visitors, suppliers, and the community with respect and courtesy.
    • Keep work areas and company facilities clean and in good condition.
  10. Compliance with the Management and Continuous Improvement Systems
    • Quality and Food Safety:
      • Understand and apply the Quality and Food Safety Policy.
      • Collaborate with the Management Team to meet Quality and Food Safety Objectives.
      • Support certification processes for management standards applicable to the plant.
      • Report any process or product condition that may risk consumer health or satisfaction.
      • Adhere to Quality, Food Defense, Order and Cleanliness, BHMS, and Prerequisite Programs.
      • Keep work areas organized and clean.
      • Participate in root cause analyses and execution of corrective action plans.
      • Know and apply the Environmental Policy.
      • Participate with the Management Team in achieving Environmental Management System objectives.
      • Report any process conditions that may impact the environment.
      • Identify, segregate, and properly dispose of waste generated in the work area.
      • Contribute to efficient use of water, electricity, compressed air, paper, lighting, fuel, and office materials, and ensure proper waste and wastewater management, as well as soil and rainwater protection.
      • Participate in identifying Environmental Aspects and Impacts.
      • Support the application of the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
      • Actively engage in Environmental Initiatives, Audits, and “Environmental Star Points” meetings.
      • Generate and contribute ideas, I-Cards, projects, and cost‑saving measures for Continuous Improvement.
      • Do not purchase or use CFCs (Chlorofluorocarbons) or asbestos.
    • Safety:
      • Know and comply with the Safety and Wellbeing Policy.
      • Collaborate with the Safety and Occupational Health Management Team to achieve safety objectives.
      • Report any unsafe conditions or risks that may affect workers’ health or safety.
      • Use assigned PPE correctly.
      • Follow operational safety controls established for all visited areas.
      • Undergo required medical checkups and health monitoring tests.
      • Participate in preparing job‑specific IPERCs (Identification of Hazards, Evaluation, and Risk Control).
      • Take part in incident investigations and company safety drills.
  11. AUTHORITIES
    • Halt product manufacturing processes if any situation poses a risk to consumer health or satisfaction.
    • Suspend operations if high‑risk conditions arise that could lead to environmental contamination or compromise worker health and safety.

  • Education: Minimum – Electromechanical or Electronic Technician (or related field).
  • Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
