Yanfeng is seeking a skilled Mold Technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds to ensure optimal uptime for production. You will work on hot and cold runner molds, hydraulic and pneumatic cores, and mold protection systems, applying GD&T knowledge and precise measurement techniques.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds.
• Experience with cold runner and hot runner molds.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic cores.
• Knowledge of mold protection systems and sensors.
• Experience with hot runners and temperature controllers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds to ensure optimal performance, quality and availability in production.
• Disassemble, inspect, adjust and reassemble molds as needed.
• Troubleshoot mold failures on production equipment and in tool room.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Understand the relationship between mold conditions, process parameters and part defects.

Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, adjustment, and troubleshooting of injection molds, ensuring optimal mold performance, quality, and availability for production at Yanfeng.

Position Requirements

1. Technical Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molds.
• Experience with cold runner and hot runner molds.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic cores.
• Knowledge of mold protection systems and sensors.
• Experience with hot runners and temperature controllers.

2. Bench Skills & Mold Fitting

• Mold disassembly and assembly.
• Welding application and determination.
• Fitting and adjustment of sliders, lifters, ejectors, and cores.
• Polishing and finishing.
• Identification and correction of flash.

3. Machining Knowledge

• Milling machine.
• Lathe.
• Surface grinder.
• Hand tools.

Machining expertise is not required; however, the technician must have a solid understanding of how mold components are manufactured and how to properly correct them.

• GD&T interpretation.
• Dimensional tolerances.
• Fits such as H7, g6, etc.
• Surface finishes.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, comparators, and other measuring instruments.

5. Mold Troubleshooting

• Troubleshooting injection molds on the production machine.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment of molds in the tool room.
• Identification of root causes and implementation of corrective actions.
• Basic knowledge of the plastic injection molding process.
• Understanding of the relationship between mold conditions, process parameters, and part defects
