Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks a tooling designer with CAD/CAM and SAP experience to support the tooling and CNC programming for low‑complexity tasks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience, with strong English proficiency.

The candidate will work on design and tooling projects, coordinate tasks within the SBU, and ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and tooling requirements using CATIA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required and 2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience interpreting drawings and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Design and CNC programming tasks for new tools and low-complexity repairs.
• Support continuous improvement and participate in projects.
• Coordinate tasks in SBU prioritizing admin controls and simple designs/CNC.
• Follow up SAP Work Orders and feedback to clients on tooling discrepancies.
• Suggest corrective actions to solve external quality problems.
• Interpret drawings and perform NC programming in CATIA; MS Office usage.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Low level of knowledge in Design and CNC Programming to complete tasks of New Tools and repairs of low complexity .
• Adapting to continuous improvement as part of the daily performance .
• Participate in projects and suggest improvements .
• Low complexity tasks .
• Coordinates some tasks in assigned SBU working on priorities like administrative controls and low complexity of designs and CNC Programming .
• Take responsibility to follow up SAP Work Orders, control of TMS’s and bring feedback to clients if there is discrepancies on the Tooling requirements .
• Support and suggest corrective actions to solve quality external problems .
• Knowledge in Sheetmetal Tool Design, 2.5 axis and 3 axis NC Programming in Catia platform .
• Experience in drawings interpretation, corrective actions, MS Office.

Perform other duties as assigned.
