Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support tool selection, setup, and maintenance for cutting tools in the Cienega de Flores facility, Mexico. You will lead 10–15 operators and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include SOP execution, batch record documentation, and training of staff on safety and standards, with focus on tooling optimization and consistent manufacturing performance.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.
• English language skills at low to intermediate level.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and tooling is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support manufacturing processes by performing technical tasks following SOPs and documenting batch records.
• Train new and junior employees on SOPs, safety procedures, policies and standards.
• Provide support in selecting cutting tools, processes and equipment; implement best practices.
• Manage and implement a FIFO system for perishable and durable tools across value streams.
• Lead a team of 10–15 operators and drive process improvements.
