A leading industrial technology company in Nuevo León is seeking a Test Engineer to maintain test equipment and collaborate with engineering teams. The successful candidate will manage testing activities, resolve defects, and analyze test data to ensure product quality. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience. The position also demands knowledge of various test instruments and strong teamwork skills.

Job Summary

The test engineer will be responsible to maintain test equipments up and running by collaborating with development and engineering teams to identify and resolve defects, analyze test data and prepare technical reports on product performance and failures, will also participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage the activities of test technicians. Will assist in developing, executing, and improving test procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.

• Configure, set up, maintain and diagnose test equipment in the production cells and/or SMT lines
• Create daily work plans to achieve test plan goals
• Perform pre and post test inspections
• Maintain and repair test equipment
• Support test equipment.
• Improvement projects
• Support NPI process

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Continuous yield improvement
• Responsible to support production testers
• Identify and resolve test-related issues
• Ensure the execution of preventive maintenance plan
• Reduce downtimes of issues related to process/test
• Spare parts control and management

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

• Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in similar role
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with test instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators, power supplies.
• Understanding of electronic circuits, signal processing, and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge Labview, Teststand, Python software
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of AOI and ICT equipamentos
