Airbus Mexico Training Center (AMTC) seeks a Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician I to ensure continuous operation of flight simulators through preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and strict adherence to manufacturer specifications.

The role supports pilots, crews, and technical staff, upholding safety and excellence in a dynamic, international aerospace environment. On-site position with growth opportunities in Latin America.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree (completed or incomplete) in Communications and Electronics Engineering, or Associate degree in Electronics.
• Technical proficiency in maintenance manuals and schematic/electronic diagrams.
• Basic English proficiency to read technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, measuring equipment and electronic testing instruments.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Customer service orientation and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance tasks on simulators per Work Order and manufacturer manuals.
• Prepare Daily Check and maintain the operational log; follow up on pending tasks.
• Provide top-tier technical support to simulator users and resolve issues promptly.
• Care for tools and test instruments; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Identify unsafe conditions or anomalies and promote safe operations and environmental awareness.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture aligned with performance objectives.

Simulator Maintenance Technician I

As a Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring operational continuity, availability, and maximum efficiency of the flight simulators through the precise execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, timely technical troubleshooting, and strict compliance with manufacturer specifications, in order to guarantee a safe, functional training environment aligned with organizational standards of excellence and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Maintenance and Quality: Execute assigned maintenance tasks via Work Order or supervisor instructions, ensuring strict adherence to manuals, standards, and procedures established by the simulator manufacturers.
• Daily Monitoring and Operational Log: Prepare the daily work report (Daily Check), correct any anomalies detected during the shift or logged in the maintenance book, and perform continuous follow-up on pending tasks.
• Support and Customer Service: Provide top-tier technical support to simulator users, swiftly analyzing technical issues and proposing effective solutions to resolve any operational impacts.
• Equipment and Tool Care: Ensure the proper and responsible use of tools and test instruments, keeping operational areas clean, organized, and in optimal working condition.
• Operational Safety and Environmental Care: Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment anomalies that may pose environmental risks, promoting the efficient use of resources (water, energy) and environmental conservation.
• Workplace Culture and Collaboration: Maintain a healthy, pleasant, and collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork and supports the achievement of operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (completed or incomplete) in Communications and Electronics Engineering, Associate degree in Electronics, or related technical fields.
• Technical proficiency in maintenance manuals and schematic/electronic diagrams.
• Basic English proficiency (ability to read and comprehend technical documentation).
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, measuring equipment, and electronic testing instruments.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Customer service orientation and teamwork abilities.
