ATS is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, to join a collaborative maintenance team that supports multiple manufacturing lines. You will gather data, analyze equipment performance, and drive predictive maintenance initiatives with a focus on reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in a related field, has hands-on experience in vibration analysis, thermography, or related diagnostics, and is committed to continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Industrial Mechanics or machine maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years' experience diagnosing and maintaining plant equipment with emphasis on electrical/electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of basic mechanical and hydraulic concepts related to machine tools.
• Experience diagnosing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with vibration analysis, laser alignment, and preventive/predictive maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Data collection, analysis, and reporting for predictive maintenance using thermography, ultrasound, vibration analysis, and oil analysis.
• Develop implementation plans and timelines for predictive maintenance techniques.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Prepare professional reports.

Requisitos:

• Carrera técnica:Mecánica Industrial, Mantenimiento a Máquinas, Electromecánica, Mecatrónica, o carreras afines
• Especialidad Eléctrica/Electrónica: Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en diagnóstico y mantenimiento de equipos de planta, con énfasis en sistemas eléctricos y electrónicos.
• Sólidos conocimientos de conceptos básicos mecánicos e hidráulicos relacionados con máquinas-herramienta, así como un excelente entendimiento de diagnóstico de maquinaria.
• Especialidad Mecánica: Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en análisis de vibraciones, operaciones con láser, alineación de maquinaria y mantenimiento general de máquinas-herramienta.
• Experiencia en diagnóstico de equipos mecánicos, hidráulicos y neumáticos complejos, además de conocimientos básicos de circuitos eléctricos.

Our maintenance technicians have 2 paths they can take. They can stay on a technical path or a leadership path. On the technical path, we have 5 different technical levels based on experience. This is the progression in order associate maintenance technician, maintenance technician I, maintenance technician II, maintenance technician senior, and maintenance technician specialist. We have a technician progression program that allows technicians starting out in their craft to progress to mid level technician after 3 years. This program is for employees coming in as an associate technician or a technician. We focus on their technical development through the 70-20-10 learning model. We have our Skill Point training product to support them along the way. For all of our maintenance technicians, we require them to take an annual technical assessment. From this assessment and weighing in other factors, they have a development plan put in place in order to align them with their long and short term career aspirations.
