Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for our client in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico. You will perform routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of commercial aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with manufacturer specs and aviation regulations.

The role demands hands-on expertise with hydraulics, pneumatics, engines and avionics, along with strong diagnostic skills, documentation accuracy, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an accredited aviation technical school is required.
• Possession of a valid Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) license or equivalent certification (e.g., IA).
• Proven experience in heavy maintenance and line maintenance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, engines, avionics).
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
• Perform aircraft inspections, including pre-flight, transit, and post-flight checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues according to technical manuals and procedures.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
• Document all maintenance actions accurately and thoroughly in the aircraft logbook and maintenance system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and FAA/DGAC requirements.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of recurring maintenance issues.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
