Job Description

Location: Monterrey, CDMX, or Guadalajara (Hybrid – 3 days per week at Infosys Office)

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Cloud Analytics Platform team. This role requires a passion for data analytics and data science, with a strong focus on turning data into a strategic asset for the organization. The position will be part of the Claims and Leave Data Domain, supporting two scrum teams that deliver solutions related to Claims, Consumer, and Leave Management, as well as data integrations.

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate with Architects and Experience Owners to define strategic plans and product delivery roadmaps, including storyboards, epics, backlogs, and roadmaps. You will enable the use of data, data science, and analytics across reporting and analytics initiatives, ensuring that data products exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the evolution of data products, serving as a subject matter expert and “voice of the market.”
  • Drive vision, strategy, design, implementation, and sustainment of data products.
  • Prioritize, refine, and manage the product backlog.
  • Conduct interviews with users, stakeholders, and business leaders to understand priorities and vision.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to articulate feature specifics and value through sprint and product demos.
  • Partner with Business Analytics and Operational teams to maximize adoption and value of data tools.
  • Lead demos showcasing cross-team data capabilities.
  • Work with scrum masters and agile teams to ensure product artifacts meet readiness and completion criteria.
  • Develop and track product roadmaps for capability enhancements.
  • Advocate for new product ideas and data use cases.
  • Research industry trends and emerging practices for data consumption and production.
  • Manage impediments, resolve issues, and improve processes.
  • Champion agile methodology and lean practices across teams.
  • Provide and receive feedback constructively.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and coach where applicable.
  • Align with other Product Managers for cross-team and organizational initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience across the Product Delivery Process in both strategy and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching data-related products.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including storytelling and negotiation.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while maximizing value.
  • Deep understanding of data, data science, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of data modeling strategies and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to review queries and identify data patterns and anomalies.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Data Science tools (Python, PySpark)
    • Query tools (Athena Query Console)
    • Analytics tools (Redshift)
    • Data wrangling tools (Trifacta, Domino, Informatica, Alteryx)
    • BI tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight)
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Outcome-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Big Data project experience.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
  • SAFe Agilist certification.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and PowerPoint.
