Job summary

CommScope is seeking a Technician I for CNC operations in Mexico. You will operate CNC lathes and milling centers, inspect parts with basic measuring tools, and assist in setup and material prep. A technical machining background and 1–2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in machining, CNC, tooling, or engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in machining or tool room (desirable).
• Basic reading of 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machining equipment: CNC lathe, CNC milling, and conventional machines.
• Perform basic inspection of parts using measuring instruments.
• Assist in setup and material preparation for production.
• Follow work instructions, drawings and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work area in good condition.

Responsabilidades Principales

Operar maquinaria básica de maquinado:

• Torno CNC
• Centro de maquinado (CNC)
• Torno convencional
• Fresadora
• Rectificadoras
• Sierra banda
• Apoyo en setup de máquinas y preparación de materiales
• Realizar inspección básica de piezas utilizando instrumentos de medición
• Apoyo en ensamble y desensamble de moldes
• Seguir instrucciones de trabajo, planos y procedimientos de seguridad
• Mantener herramientas, equipos y área de trabajo en condiciones adecuadas

Habilidades Técnicas

• Operación básica de maquinaria de maquinado
• Lectura básica de planos (2D)
• Uso de instrumentos de medición (vernier, micrómetro)

Conocimiento básico de:

• Wire EDM (deseable)
• Hole Popper (deseable)
• CNC High Speed (conceptual)

Habilidades Adicionales

Conocimiento básico en procesos de soldadura:

• TIG
• Láser
• MIG (PUG)

Software

• SolidWorks (nivel básico)
• ESPRIT CAM (ejecución de programas)
• Operación básica de impresora 3D

Educación y Experiencia

Carrera técnica en maquinado, CNC, herramientas o ingeniería

1–2 años de experiencia en maquinado o tool room (deseable)
