ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join a cross‑functional team developing a case management and workflow automation platform powered by Python, React, and AWS. You’ll own the technical solution end‑to‑end, from architecture to delivery, ensuring scalability, quality, and alignment with business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide technical direction and architectural oversight for backend (Python) and frontend (React) components;
• Provide insights about AI utilization in assisting users;
• End‑to‑end ownership of the technical solution;
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure high‑quality implementation;
• Design scalable, maintainable architectures leveraging Heroku (initially) and AWS (long‑term);
• Ensure clean, secure, and testable code through code reviews and best practices;
• Mentor engineers and define development standards across the project;
• Support CI / CD setup, environment provisioning, and DevOps coordination;
• Collaborate with PM and Designer to define the technical roadmap and support inception activities.

MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of software engineering experience;
• 2+ years in a lead or architect role.
• Strong backend development experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django);
• Proven experience with React and TypeScript ;
• Solid understanding of cloud development and deployment (Heroku, AWS, GCP) environments;
• Experience with modular architectures, APIs, and system integrations;
• Excellent communication skills in distributed, cross‑functional teams;
• Advanced English and availability for EST overlap;
• 1+ years building with LLMs, both locally‑hosted and API‑based (OpenAI);
• Expertise in Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face;
• Hands‑on experience with agentic pipelines, RAG, vector search, and prompt engineering.
