A leading global coatings company is seeking a Technical Advisor based in Nuevo León, Apodaca. You will provide training and technical support focused on coatings to customers and internal staff. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture and at least 6 months of experience in technical roles. Strong knowledge of coating applications and basic English skills are essential for success in this role.

Overview

As a Technical Advisor, you will execute training and technical service programs focused on the PPG Comex network, end customers, and internal staff. You will provide specialized support in coatings through hands-on training, customer guidance, and maintenance of tools and facilities, contributing to the achievement of national and divisional sales goals.

You will report directly to our Training Manager!

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions on coating application to customers, internal staff, and store personnel, at Integral Training Centers or customer-designated facilities
• Provide guidance on product selection, application techniques, and performance, addressing questions and recommending technical solutions
• Document relevant information, recommendations, and assessments regarding product performance in the field
• Manage the maintenance and availability of application tools, vehicles, and training spaces
• Participate in multiple activities such as product testing, technical visits, and coordination with departments like Marketing and Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with professional license in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (non-negotiable due to CONOCER certification requirements)
• 6 months of experience in technical roles (preferably field-based)
• Technical Knowledge of Coating application and technical customer support
• Basic English (ability to interpret technical texts and videos)
• Time availability to travel
• Drive knowledge in standard and automatic vehicles (valid driver\'s license)
