Mirai RiskTech is seeking a motivated Tech Consultant to join our Consulting team. The role focuses on data processing, automation, analysis, and integration across enterprise data environments, with training and hands-on project work for banks in Mexico and the US.

You will learn Python, Snowflake, and BI tools, while supporting ETL tasks, data loading, and client deliverables in a globally distributed team.

Formación

• Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (mandatory)
• 2+ Years of experience with Python scripting and automation
• Strong understanding of data structures, data quality principles, and basic data transformation processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Data Warehouses and enterprise data environments

About the Role
Mirai RiskTech is seeking a motivated and detail-orientedTech Consultant to join our Consulting team. The successful candidate will support data processing, automation, analysis, and integration initiatives while collaborating with consultants, technical specialists, and client stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work in enterprise data environments, participate in software implementation projects, and contribute to innovative solutions for leading financial institutions worldwide.
In the initial stage, you will receive comprehensive training with our Technology and Finance teams to gain end-to-end expertise in consulting. This includes strengthening your programming skills, learning new tools, and acquiring basic financial concepts.
After completing the training, you will join consulting projects with clients from leading banks in Mexico or the United States.
You will learn to:

• Understand financial regulations and key concepts such as capital, provisions, and risk management to support project development
• Gain theoretical and practical knowledge of relational databases
• Learn and perform tasks to optimize complex IT scenarios
• Identify and analyze client requirements and deliver high-quality outputs
• Work on code migration, testing, initial and ongoing data loading
• Develop expertise in ETL processes
• Review and monitor testing activities
• Learn to develop using Python, Snowflake, and work with tools like Tableau, Power BI, and others
• Prepare and present project deliverables according to quality standards

Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical professional with strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine interest in programming, data management, and technology-driven solutions.

• Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (mandatory)
• Demonstrates (2+Years of experience) solid programming skills in Python and is comfortable developing scripts to automate processes, manipulate data, and solve technical challenges
• Possesses a strong understanding of data structures, data quality principles, and basic data transformation processes, with the ability to support accurate and reliable software implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Data Warehouses and enterprise data environments

Location
This position is based in Mexicoand primarily follows a remote work model, with occasional on-site meetings as needed for business purposes.
