Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our growing Project Management team and lead the delivery of complex data center construction projects in Querétaro, Mexico. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record in managing mission-critical projects.

The Team Leader will coordinate project activities, ensure effective communication, and maintain compliance with governance and quality standards. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, stakeholder engagement, and team development, while driving exceptional results throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Purpose of the Role
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety, commercial, and risk management standards.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of large‑scale data center projects.
  • Act as the primary interface with clients and consultants at all project stages.
  • Support business growth by mentoring team members and contributing to new opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
  • Define success criteria for projects, including time, cost, and performance parameters.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, processes, and reporting systems.
  • Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Manage procurement strategies and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Apply performance management techniques and lead risk workshops.
  • Oversee change control processes and financial tracking.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to clients and senior leadership.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 12–14 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in data center or mission‑critical infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes; LEED experience is a plus.
  • Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish for client‑facing communication.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and BIM platforms.
