Develop and lead implementation of global category procurement strategies for assigned Indirect Procurement categories.
Lead supplier procurement activities, ensuring timely execution and focusing on global solutions that improve services and reduce costs.
Facilitate supplier procurement process and negotiations, maximizing Johnson Controls’ leverage.
Lead supplier contracting negotiations and execution, collaborating with corporate legal for risk-related terms.
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance engagement and develop a robust procurement pipeline.
Drive collaborative procurement efforts with necessary cross-functional counterparts to maximize efficiency and mitigate risks.
Drive cost-out targets for the supply management organization; calculate and report savings.
Engage with stakeholders through effective communication to align procurement strategies with their needs.
Implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
Leverage technology and data analytics to inform decision-making.
Monitor market trends and industry standards for cost savings and service improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related area is required.
Advanced degree in business, finance, and/or legal is highly desirable.
+5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Significant negotiating experience is required.
Operational and procurement experience.
Prior contracting experience (negotiation, implementation, management of agreements) is required.
Fluency to speak and write in English.
