Emerson is seeking an analytical tax professional in Mexico to prepare and file federal, state, local, and other tax returns on time, monitor legislation, and advise on tax implications of business initiatives.

You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, and business teams, support audits and due diligence, and contribute to tax planning while maintaining compliance. A Bachelor's in Accounting or related field and experience in corporate tax are required; CPA/CMA a plus.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in corporate tax or tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, local, indirect, and/or property tax regulations.
  • Experience preparing tax returns and supporting schedules.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
  • English proficiency to work in a global business environment.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or tax compliance.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, local, indirect, and/or property tax regulations.
  • Experience preparing tax returns and supporting schedules.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • English proficiency sufficient to work in a global business environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a multinational or publicly traded company.
  • Knowledge of international tax concepts and cross-border transactions.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions tax analysis and due diligence activities.
  • Experience supporting tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills.
