Formación

• 4+ years’ experience in VAT/Income Tax compliance and accounting.
• Experience in creating layouts for tax authorities’ requirements.
• Experience with Mexican GAAP and US GAAP tax accounting.

Responsabilidades

How will you make an impact in this role?

• Overall responsibility for the timely preparation and initial review of VAT returns prepared by 3rd party
• Supporting tax manager with statutory audits (including annual tax provision and Dictamen Fiscal)
• Oversee the monthly reconciliation processes in support of the Income Tax and VAT returns
• Provide support to Tax Controversy Managers for tax authority audits primarily with respect to providing layouts of revenues and expenses in accordance with the requirements
• Work collaboratively with and support the central tax compliance and tax accounting teams as necessary
• Work collaboratively with and support the controversy and planning/advisory teams as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• Post‑secondary degree in accounting with a minimum 4+ years’ experience in VAT/Income Tax compliance and accounting.
• Experience in creating layouts in accordance with tax authorities’ requirements.
• Experience in digital invoicing connectivity for revenues and expenses.
• Experience in Mexican GAAP and US GAAP tax accounting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, natural collaborator who can engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with a Big 4 firm and/or multinational is preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills including a strong capability in Excel and Power Point.
• Intermediate English, written and spoken.
