Valeo is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to design and justify automotive electronic systems. You will define subsystems, specify requirements, and support customer interactions while ensuring on-time delivery and conformance with safety standards.

You will collaborate with System Architects, validate system interfaces, and lead risk and test coverage activities within a multinational team. This permanent role offers growth in a global mobility tech company.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years experience designing embedded electronic systems for automotive or industrial applications.
• Knowledge of modeling/simulation tools and requirements management tools.
• Familiarity with automotive communication buses.

Responsabilidades

• Define system architecture and justify decisions with the System Architect.
• Define sub-systems and their interfaces and supports.
• Specify requirements for sub-systems and interfaces.
• Prepare responses to Requests For Quotation.
• Create internal compliance matrices for sub-systems.
• Compile system risks list and manage mitigation actions.
• Maintain traceability matrix mapping requirements to eSystem perimeter.
• Develop test coverage matrix.
• Ensure system deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Represent the Architect in front of customers when needed.
• Maintain system consistency during design and validation phases.
• Review system specifications with implementation teams and peers.
• Participate in project and system metier meetings.
• Apply environment, safety and security procedures and best practices.
• Identify and manage risks from subcontractors and actions plans.

• Answer to Request For Quotation
• Internal compliance Matrix for sub-systems
• System risks list
• Traceability matrix with customer requirements on eSystem perimeter
• Test coverage matrix

Scheduling and budgeting

• To manage system deliverables on time
• To establish, update and respect system budget

Coordination

• Supports and/or represents the Architect in front of the customer.
• Guaranties the system consistency during the design and validation phase
• Reviews the system specification with the implementation, test Métiers and its peers
• Participate to project and system metier meetings.
• Applies environment Safety and Security procedures and good practices.
• Knows for their activities and the subcontractors activities, the potential risk and their consequences, is attentive and responsive to them and manages the associated action plans

Education/Training

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 Years experience in designing embedded electronic System for Automotive or Industrial applications

Knowledge of modeling/simulation tools and requirement management tools.

Knowledge of automotive communication bus.
