A global business software leader in Mexico City seeks a System Consultant to support the Production environment and troubleshoot application issues. Ideal candidates will have cloud software experience, technical support skills, and proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office applications. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on customer success and system efficiency.

Descripción del empleo

The SystemConsultant is responsible for supporting the Production environment to provide technical support to the Infor Nexus customer service teams. In addition, they will work with other internal teams to analyze system behavior and identify the resolution of issues for both internal and external users. The Associate-level position will be expected to develop their skills and knowledge around the Infor Nexus platform, and will receive guidance and oversight from more senior team members as needed.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Troubleshoot system application and messaging problems.
  • Handle cases from the Level 2 Support queue, providing support to internal and external users regarding application and integrated messaging issues.
  • Review standard Message Integration Guides (MIGs) to troubleshoot message failures.
  • Resubmit inbound and outbound messages as required to resolve customer issues.
  • Perform some minor configuration updates as part of everyday issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams, i.e., Level 1 Support, Customer Success Managers, Quality Assurance, Messaging, and Professional Services to help identify problems and potential workarounds/solutions.
  • Use SQL to troubleshoot issues between the UI application and the database.
  • Interact with Professional Service department to gain knowledge and understanding on customer solutions and technical setup requirements.
  • Identify and replicate platform issues in non-Production Environments.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting cloud-based software application.
  • Experience in technical support, application testing, quality assurance, production support, or technical customer services.
  • English speaking and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supply chain ERP experience a plus.
  • Experience working in industries such as logistics and/or import/export.
  • Experience with SQL, X12, EDIFACT, and XML transaction processing.
  • Experience identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), XML Spy, Notepad++, Textpad.
