Cummins México is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to ensure the smooth flow of materials and alignment between sales demand and manufacturing operations. You will optimize inventory and manage supplier relationships to guarantee timely deliveries.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience in material planning, strong ERP/MRP skills (preferably Oracle), EDI experience, and advanced Excel. English proficiency is essential, with on-site responsibilities in Nuevo León.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or inventory control within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; Oracle preferred.
• Experience using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

The Supply Chain Planner creates value by ensuring the continuous flow of materials, inventory optimization, and alignment between sales demand and manufacturing operations to guarantee the timely delivery of products to our end customers.

In this position, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Material Planning: Coordination and supply planning with suppliers for both direct and non-direct production goods, as well as MRO materials.

• Inventory Management: Control, tracking, and efficient administration of inventory levels within specialized systems.

• Purchase Orders: Placement, tracking, and receipt of material purchase orders with suppliers.

• Demand Analysis: Analysis of demand requirements to supply the sales schedule.

• Operational Collaboration: Cross-functional teamwork with the Manufacturing department to ensure on-time production and final delivery to the customer.

• Strategic Communication: Maintain fluid and effective communication with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or inventory control within the manufacturing industry.

• Systems and Software:

• Proficiency and management of ERP/MRP systems (solid experience in Oracle is highly preferred).

• Experience using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Language: Advanced English proficiency.

• Technical Knowledge: Management of MRO materials and inventory administration.

En este puesto, tendrás un impacto de las siguientes maneras:

• Planeación de Materiales: Coordinación y planeación de suministro con proveedores tanto para bienes de producción directa como no directos y MRO.

• Gestión de Inventarios: Control, seguimiento y administración eficiente de niveles de inventario en sistemas especializados.

• Órdenes de Compra: Colocación, seguimiento y recepción de órdenes de compra de materiales con proveedores.

• Análisis de Demanda: Análisis de requerimientos de demanda para el suministro del calendario de ventas.

• Colaboración Operativa: Trabajo en equipo multifuncional con el área de Manufactura para asegurar la producción a tiempo y la entrega final al cliente.

• Comunicación Estratégica: Mantener una comunicación fluida y efectiva con proveedores, logística y equipos internos.

• Para tener éxito en este puesto necesitarás lo siguiente:

• Título universitario en Ingeniería Industrial, Licenciatura en Administración, Ingeniería en Manufactura o carreras afines.

• De 2 a 3 años de experiencia en planeación de materiales, cadena de suministro o control de inventarios dentro de la industria manufacturera.

• Dominio y manejo de sistemas ERP/MRP (deseable experiencia sólida en Oracle).

• Experiencia en el uso de EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).

• Dominio de Microsoft Excel Avanzado.

• Inglés Avanzado.

• Manejo de materiales MRO y administración de inventarios.
