Position Objective
- Coordinate and provide instructions to the Supply Chain team.
- Achieve the objectives indicated in the OU's Supply Chain Management in terms of safety, sustainability, quality, shipments, inventories, and logistics costs.
- Full responsibility for the supply chain of customer demands, material planning, and ensuring timely and accurate shipments to customers.
- Responsibility for the configuration of master data (including the material list, monitoring engineering changes, routing).
- Responsibility for ramp‑up and ramp‑down configuration for series projects.
- Development of the SCM team towards TK Presta standards.
- Interface with CBU / Plant / Customer.
- Conduct MMOG audits.
Key Activities of the Position
- Implement customer demands in the production plan.
- Monitor the performance of customer shipments.
- Ensure planning of raw materials / components, work in process (WIP), and finished products.
- Performance management of supplier shipments, including monthly assessments and handling claims against them, including the escalation process (e.g., extra freights, etc.).
- Responsibility for the accuracy of master data in the OU (correct configuration of parameters in SAP).
- Responsibility for creating and presenting business review reports and regular meetings with the team and informing staff.
- Achieve SCM objectives (ISR, TSR).
- Ensure the supply chain process for the start of production (SOP) and end of production (EOP).
- Coordinate and manage engineering changes in collaboration with OU departments.
- Ensure the competencies of indirect personnel, evaluation, and development plan through a training plan.
- Ensure and plan the necessary resources in the supply chain to achieve objectives (HR, ergonomics, and packaging).
- Promote continuous improvement in the production process supported by the thyssenkrupp production system (tkps).
- Ensure compliance with the department's budget and take actions to avoid negative impacts on the plant's results in case of unplanned situations.
- Implement company policies within the OU (HR, Quality, etc.).
- Improve series production and the launch of new projects in the OU.
- Participate in fulfilling AITF requirements and all specific customer requirements in the OU.
- Ability to manage communication with internal and external partners.
Required Profile / Professional Competencies
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's Degree / Technical education or administration focused on SCM, logistics, or similar studies.
- Desired Experience : In SCM, in the automotive industry, more than 5 years in the position.
- Languages / Required Level : Advanced English conversational.
- German desirable.
- Computer Programs : Intermediate SAP, Intermediate MS Office.
