Role Overview

The Supply Chain Engineering Manager leads remote continuous improvement programs across 50+ connected factories, delivering measurable gains in service, inventory, and working capital through the deployment and optimization of enterprise supply chain tools. The role serves as the bridge between the COE and site-level teams, ensuring adoption, standardization, and execution of transformation initiatives that improve service, reduce inventory, and enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across connected factories through remote engagement.
  • Own deployment, governance, and optimization of enterprise supply chain tools.
  • Act as liaison between the COE and site-level supply chain teams for transformation execution.
  • Align with corporate goals in the Annual AOP related to Growth, Customer Service Level, and Working Capital Optimization.
  • Use dashboards and tools (SCDP, Pulse, PFEP, Control Tower, SC Cockpit, Supplier OTD, OneStream, Power BI) to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee PFEP implementation, MRP parameter governance, POH deployment, and systematic management of shortages and Clear-to-Build.
  • Support and assure proper site configuration of enterprise tools.
  • Direct the remote SC engineering team in maintaining dashboards, scripts, and automation solutions.
  • Facilitate virtual Kaizen events, process audits, and post‑implementation reviews.
  • Provide training and coaching to planners, buyers, and schedulers across sites.
  • Recruit and onboard new planners/buyers allocated to OpCos.
  • Track, measure, and report continuous improvement performance.

  • OpCo Procurement Managers – Supplier process improvements.

  • IT/ERP Teams – ERP/MRP maximization.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • % of factories using enterprise tools to standard.
  • Monthly Avoidance Opportunity by site.
  • Shortages by site.
  • Inventory Turns (Net Inventory, Raw Material).
  • Raw Material and WIP Inventory reduction vs. AOP goals.
  • % and $ of Safety Stock under/over PFEP suggested levels.
  • On‑time completion of Kaizen events and follow‑ups.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional certifications (APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement certifications a plus.
  • 8–12+ years in Supply Chain Management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in multi‑site, multi‑business environments.
  • Experience in manufacturing under MTO, ATO, ETO, and MTS environments.
  • Experience implementing and sustaining Pull Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and execution processes (PFEP, MPS, MRP, inventory optimization, shortage management).
  • Proficiency with multiple ERP systems (at least 3 distinct ERPs).
  • Data/analytics skills (Excel, Power BI, SQL).
  • Leadership and change‑leadership skills, stakeholder management, executive presence.
  • Performance‑driven mindset with focus on measurable outcomes (KPI ownership).
