Job summary

Flex Ltd in Juarez Sur, Mexico, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen supplier quality, audits, and process improvements. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will interface with vendors and internal teams to ensure material quality and regulatory compliance across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, intermediate English, and QA experience. You’ll visit vendors, review reports, and help implement corrective actions in a busy global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reviews technical problems and procedures and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
• Visits vendors to obtain information related to supply quality and capacity of vendor to meet orders and vendor quality standards.
• Confer with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured products on market to rectify problems.

Responsibilities

• Researches, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends and design and development of new products for consideration by management.
• Interface with customers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives.
• In charge of managing customer audits and regulatory/compliance agency audits.
• Conduct management meetings with product assurance program department heads to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies.
