Job summary

PPG, líder en soluciones de protección y embellecimiento, busca un Responsable de área de mantenimiento para asegurar el cumplimiento de objetivos operativos y estratégicos. Coordinará equipos, gestionará recursos y promoverá prácticas de excelencia en seguridad y calidad.

La posición requiere ingeniería en áreas afines y 2–3 años de experiencia supervisando mantenimiento industrial, con manejo de herramientas de HR (Workday, Kronos, PeoplePlus).

Qualifications

• Título de Ingeniería en una de las especialidades afines (Mecánica, Eléctrica, Industrial o Mecatrónica).
• 2–3 años de experiencia supervisando mantenimiento, manufactura o entornos industriales.
• Conocimiento básico de KPIs, seguridad industrial y mejora continua.

Responsibilities

• Supervisar, desarrollar y capacitar al personal de mantenimiento.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de KPIs y objetivos del área.
• Promover seguridad, calidad y excelencia operativa.
• Gestionar disponibilidad de recursos humanos, materiales y equipos de mantenimiento.
• Coordinar mantenimiento en diferentes turnos de operación.
• Administrar temas de personal en sistemas corporativos (Workday, Kronos, PeoplePlus).
• Dar seguimiento a iniciativas de Operational Excellence.
• Analizar indicadores, generar reportes y presentar resultados semanales y mensuales.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de procedimientos de seguridad, medio ambiente y calidad.

Job description

Responsable de asegurar el cumplimiento de los objetivos operativos y estratégicos del área mediante la supervisión del personal de mantenimiento, la gestión eficiente de los recursos disponibles y la implementación de prácticas de excelencia operativa, calidad y seguridad (EHS). Coordina las actividades diarias para garantizar la continuidad de las operaciones y el cumplimiento de los indicadores de desempeño establecidos.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervisar, desarrollar y capacitar al personal operativo de mantenimiento.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de los KPIs y objetivos del área.
• Promover una cultura de seguridad, calidad y excelencia operativa.
• Gestionar y garantizar la disponibilidad de recursos humanos, materiales y equipos de mantenimiento.
• Coordinar las actividades de mantenimiento en los diferentes turnos de operación.
• Administrar temas relacionados con el personal a través de sistemas corporativos (Workday, Kronos, PeoplePlus).
• Dar seguimiento a las iniciativas y herramientas de Operational Excellence.
• Analizar indicadores, generar reportes y presentar resultados semanales y mensuales.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de seguridad, medio ambiente y calidad.

Qualifications

• Ingeniería Mecánica, Eléctrica, Industrial, Mecatrónica o afín.
• De 2 a 3 años de experiencia en supervisión de mantenimiento, manufactura o entornos industriales.
• Conocimiento básico de indicadores operativos (KPIs), seguridad industrial y mejora continua.
• Habilidad para liderar, coordinar y desarrollar equipos de trabajo.
