Job summary

Signify in Apodaca, Mexico is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead supplier strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive cost reductions in a fast-paced, on-site role.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing plans with business needs, manage suppliers, and ensure compliance while shaping long-term procurement excellence. This on-site role in Apodaca offers a dynamic, global culture with opportunities to grow and influence Signify’s sustainability and cost leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with strong expertise in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Experience managing suppliers, sourcing strategies, and procurement activities.
• CPSM or equivalent professional certification is highly recommended.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Reduction: develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings.
• Supplier Management: scout, select, develop, and manage suppliers while monitoring KPIs.
• Stakeholder & Strategy Alignment: partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into supplier strategies.
• NPDL & Supplier Involvement: lead supplier selection, early involvement, tender generation/review, and strategy during the NPDL phase.
• Risk, Compliance & Procurement Excellence: manage supplier-related risks, ensure policy compliance, support VE/DfX initiatives, and forecast prices.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Strategic Sourcing Manager in Apodaca with Signify.

• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Reduction: Develop and execute commodity/sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and drive cost-saving opportunities.
• Supplier Management: Scout, select, develop, and manage suppliers while monitoring quality, delivery, performance, sustainability, and development KPIs.
• Stakeholder & Strategy Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand technical/business requirements and translate them into supplier and supply-base strategies.
• NPDL & Supplier Involvement: Lead supplier selection, early supplier involvement, tender generation/review, and supplier strategy during the NPDL phase.
• Risk, Compliance & Procurement Excellence: Manage supplier-related risks, ensure policy/regulatory compliance, support Value Engineering/DfX initiatives, and develop mid- and long-term price forecasts.
