Job summary

Avnet is seeking a procurement and logistics professional to align purchases with business strategy and financial goals. You will manage orders, coordinate with suppliers, and support inventory optimization to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in procurement or logistics, strong negotiation skills, and experience with ERP systems in a global distribution environment. This on-site role is based in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in procurement, order management or logistics.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchases and provides order fulfillment activities in support of business demand to positively impact inventory turns.
• Manages the order status process, including shipping and delivery information in systems.
• Develops and manages relationships with suppliers to meet shipping/delivery commitments.
• Negotiates pricing with suppliers and provides quotes to sales.
• Collaborates with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Supports group initiatives and supplier management activities.
