Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Procurement Buyer in Mexico to oversee purchasing of goods, raw materials, and services. You will ensure timely delivery, negotiate contracts, and work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize cost, quality, and continuity of supply.

Responsibilities include PO management, supplier lead times, scheduling with planners, and driving continuous improvement across purchasing operations in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of experience with SAP.
• 5+ years of Purchasing experience, Supply Chain operations and Manufacturing operations.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Frontline supplier management.
• Place POs and manage acknowledgments, changes in PPVs, and spot buys for delivery issues.
• Track shipments and ensure material reaches site on time.
• Coordinate with material planners to execute scheduling changes and forecast delivery to suppliers.
• Own supplier lead times and monitor risk and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers and Business Unit partners on terms, conditions and specs.
• Ensure materials meet operational needs and continuity of supply.
• Manage ordering of materials and components due to demand changes or discrepancies.
• Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
• Resolve basic discrepancies, issues, change orders, or cancellations related to POs.
• Ensure supplier contact accuracy and follow up on due or unconfirmed POs.
• Resolve invoice issues related to delivery, PO management, or pricing/terms.
• Drive purchasing metrics and supplier digital connections.
• Participate in daily Tier meetings and operations reviews.
