Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Supply Chain Scheduler in Rio Bravo, Mexico to oversee the inventory of raw materials and components, and to plan requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule. You will coordinate forecasts with suppliers, monitor arrivals and ensure materials meet customer demand.

You will join a global automotive supplier, coordinating with logistics, purchasing and VPS teams, supporting inventory counting and ERP data accuracy, and escalating

Responsibilities

• In charge of the inventory level of raw materials and components families.
• Follow up MPS achievement and propose preventive actions regarding material availability to ensure MPS realization.
• Set up proper raw materials and components inventory levels.
• Define and lead actions connected with inventory reductions with components families.
• Measure Supplier Service Rate – SSR – for each supplier and propose action plans to improve service level.
• Follow up and report daily the inventory level of raw materials and components families.
• Plan material requirements based on SIOP/ MPS/ forecast and anticipate impacts with suppliers and production.
• Validate and send weekly forecasts to suppliers and ensure timely shipments of firm orders.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and internal customers; escalate when necessary.
• Attend logistics/purchasing meetings and support actions with AP/ Logistics/ VPS to improve supply chain.
• Define inbound transportation plans with External flow analyst and support inventory counting to maintain accuracy.
