Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Controlling & Planning Specialist to drive financial planning, analysis and performance monitoring. You will support strategic decisions with accurate reporting, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring alignment with objectives and driving efficiency.

You will lead budgets, forecasts and long‑term plans, develop financial models, and present insights to senior management while ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP. Hybrid work environment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years in financial planning and analysis or controlling in a large multinational.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and financial reporting literacy.
• Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis and advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle ERP and planning tools (Hyperion/Anaplan) is desirable.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance and profitability analysis.
• Lead preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and long‑term plans.
• Develop and maintain financial models for strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPI insights to senior management.
• Monitor actual vs budget/forecast and explain deviations with corrective actions.
• Support implementation and improvement of planning and reporting systems and tools.
