Job summary

Mopar is seeking an Operations leader for the Stamping Plant in Toluca. This role plans, controls and administers all plant resources to meet goals, driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer requirements in quantity, quality and on-time delivery.

The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing plants and will oversee production, maintenance, quality and safety activities while coordinating cross-functional departments to meet production control programs.

• Directs, promotes, audits and ensures proper use and application of methods and tools
• Establish systems to ensure continuous maintenance
• Develops teamwork to improve results and resolve root causes of issues

Job description

Plan, control, direct and administrate all the Plant resources to meet goals with continuous improvement to ensure the continued operation of the Stamping Plant and that customer requirements can be met in quantity, quality and on time.

1 Strategic % a.- Establishes strategies for Continuous Improvement in the Stamping areas. 60.00 b.- Establishes guidelines to achieve objectives and for the Launching of new products or services to meet the planned objectives c.- Establishes and verifies the development of projects to take advantage of the resources of Infrastructure, Capital Plan, OSHA, Environmental etc., to guarantee the optimum performance of the Stampings department. 2 Operational a.- Directs, promotes, audits and ensures the proper use and application of tools. 30.00 b.- Responsible for managing and controlling all production, press maintenance, dice maintenance, quality and safety activities c.- Coordinates and directs efforts of involved departments to comply with Production Control programs. 3 Resource Management a.- Plant budget 10.00 b.- Work equipment (mobile, technologies, real estate, tools and spare parts) c.- Scrap management and control. Other Functions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Experience: (Time/Type) At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Plants.
