A global sportswear brand is seeking a dedicated Account Manager in Mexico City to drive sales for key client accounts. The role involves understanding client needs, managing inventory, and leading sales campaigns. Candidates should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, along with a university degree and intermediate English proficiency. Experience in the retail industry of sports and fashion products is advantageous.

Formación

  • University degree or currently attending college.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Experience in the retail industry of sports and/or fashion products is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a commercial role.

Responsabilidades

  • Responsible for the pre-sale process of key account designated categories.
  • Analyze the needs of assigned client categories and suggest seasonal purchases.
  • Visit client stores regularly and plan growth strategies.
  • Understand categories, technologies, and product presentation to clients.
  • Lead specific sales campaigns and coordinate with marketing.

Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for the pre‑sale process of key account designated categories;
  • Analyze the needs of the assigned client categories by store (stores may be different) and provide a suggestion for seasonal purchase;
  • Offer and accomplish opportunities for prompt delivery (ReOrders and Clearance);
  • Regularly visit (2‑3 times a week) both client and client stores and strategically plan the two‑year growth of the designated categories in the Strategic Account Plan;
  • Understanding categories, technologies and models and presentation of products to the designated clients;
  • Analyze inventory and client portfolio to track client product releases;
  • Sending of inventory and sale reports (sell‑out);
  • Lead specific sales campaigns (product and limited time) and follow the marketing campaigns together with the marketing department and the client;
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to serve clients to maintain an excellent relationship;
  • Analytical skills to understand the market situation, client problems (low sale, high inventory, etc.) and offer alternatives and solutions to maintain a sustainable growth;
  • Organization and planning of tasks, visits to stores, reports and provision of information;
  • Focus on results / Sales
  • Advanced computing knowledgement (Excel and PowerPoint);
Qualifications
  • University degree or attending college;
  • Intermediate English (non‑eliminatory);
  • Experience in the retail industry of sports and / or fashion products (not eliminatory);
  • Experience of 2‑4 years in the commercial function;
