We are looking for a Sr. FullStack Developer to join a growing team and contribute to the development of large-scale, innovative solutions. This is a 100% remote role from Latin America, offered under an Independent Contractor model, with compensation in USD and strong focus on professional growth in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

The client is located in the EST time zone, but open to working with candidates across all Latin American time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain large-scale web applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Python (FastAPI), Node.js, and SQL/Postgres.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and team members to design and implement scalable and robust technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and define development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to other team members.
• Ensure a user-centered design approach, working alongside Product and UX (experience in user interviews is a plus).
• Explore and apply emerging technologies related to AI, LLMs, RAG, and embeddings.
• Complete the code challenge as part of the selection process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior FullStack Developer (5+ years).
• Strong expertise with:
• Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind.
• Backend: Python (FastAPI), Node.js.
• Databases: SQL/Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and AI-driven applications.
• Experience working on large-scale applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.
• Advanced English level (minimum C1).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and product-driven environments.
• Experience in user research or user-centered design.
