Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English at an Advanced Level.

The Planner Buyer for Mammotome is responsible for globally managing, maintaining, buying, and planning for multiple product groups. This role ensures material availability, optimizes inventory, and drives supply chain efficiency through executing planning methods such as MRP, ROP, Kanban. The role is also involved in special initiatives within the Global Supply Chain team plus additional projects as needed or assigned.

This position is part of the Materials team located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and will be on-site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Manage stock levels using prescribed planning models (min/max, Just in Time, CRP, Kanban, MRP).
  • Supplier maintenance including creation and management of POs, escalating price discrepancies, supplier OTD and overall supplier performance. Drive corrective actions to resolve supplier failures.
  • Analyze material demand based on production plans to determine material needs and execute material’s procurement.
  • Optimize productivity, inventory and freight spend through capacity and takt planning, along with other long‑term planning at MMT.
  • Meet key deliverables such as On‑Time Delivery and Inventory value through daily management.
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred: Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience of 5 years in Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluency English / Advance Level.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Experience on Material’s Control.
  • Knowledge in ISO‑13485, FDA standards and regulations (Preferable)
  • Experience on Material’s Control.
  • Experience with MRP, JIT, Kanban.
  • APIC certification is desirable.
