A leading technology firm is seeking a Network Engineer in Ciudad de México. The successful candidate will design, develop, and troubleshoot computer networks while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong documentation skills and an advanced English level are essential. Experience in Cisco Networking and a good understanding of AWS are preferred. This role involves relationship management and the driving of improvements within network processes.

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents computer networks and infrastructure.
• Facilitates major network projects to support capacity growth, upgrades and new products/features, and integration.
• Maintains in-depth up-to-date knowledge of standards, guidelines, industry trends, etc., for the Networking discipline, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center networking and interconnection.
• Performs scopes of work as detailed in implementation plans assigned (system builds, test plans, documentation, training).
• Drives improvements in network process, efficiency and standardization.
• Contributes to the development and analyses of network designs and protocols including prototyping and assessment.
• Performs planning, engineering, forecasting and implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems of moderate complexity.
• Evaluates current network systems. Recommends changes in maintenance and systems standards, and train support personnel on the conversion and implementation of the system.
• Ensures compliance with change control processes and adherence to standards.
• Participates in the diagnosis, isolation and resolution of network problems. Identifies and documents the root cause identifies potential issues in the production environment, and recommends potential solutions.

Relationship Management

• Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, external providers and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
• Experience with Cisco Networking (standards and wireless solutions).
• Advanced English level required.
• Knoledge of internet connectivity and AWS.
• Strong documentation skills: ability to clearly record changes, processes, and configurations.
• Analytical skills to understand applications and propose functional improvements.
• Nice to have experience with Mitel telephony and IP Telephony.
