A global pharmaceutical company located in Veracruz, Mexico, is looking for a Marketing Leader to oversee a therapeutic area. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, marketing, or related fields, coupled with over 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, particularly in marketing roles. Responsibilities include managing the P&L for the assigned area, engaging stakeholders, and executing strategic marketing initiatives. Strong leadership and pharmaceutical business acumen are essential in this role.

Formación

  • Expertise in the current therapeutic area is a plus.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide marketing and commercial end‑to‑end leadership for a relevant therapeutic area (TA) to develop and implement a strategic approach addressing key unmet needs, generating brand equity, channels and pricing strategy, TA knowledge, and market understanding to boost corporate objectives and generate value to stakeholders.

  • Foster flawless strategy execution through people engagement, build brand teams, inspire others with a growth mindset and effective budget management; act as a team leader partnering sales, access, trade marketing, medical, regulatory affairs and supply.

  • Manage full TA P&L and lead brand team focusing on end‑to‑end strategic approach, planning present and future growth, and act as a reference point for internal stakeholders on the assigned therapeutic area.

  • Full accountability for sell‑out through demand generation; brand/TA equity generation; brand planning and QBR (including market‑data tools such as PMM, ATV, CUP, Veeva); launching process with a strategic approach to full TA; supply planning; budget accountability; compliance training and procedures; field visits to obtain relevant feedback from sales team; partnering access teams for strategic selling; building a relevant network with peers from other countries.

  • External stakeholder engagement: field visits to stakeholders, organizing and executing engagement activities according to TA/Brand strategy, developing engagement plans with scientific organizations and professional groups, and representing Teva in relevant meetings.

  • Hold full marketing decision authority in the applicable brand team, actively managing brand, promotions, channel, pricing and trade strategy with respective leading positions.


Experienced at working collaboratively in an autonomous way.


Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor or licensed professional in healthcare sciences, marketing, administration, industrial engineering or communications.

  • Experience: 5+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in marketing teams (Rx segment is a must).

  • Functional Knowledge: Pharmaceutical business acumen, market dynamics understanding, common business and market performance indicators, P&L understanding, and budget execution.

  • Reports to: Country General Manager.

  • Additional: Expertise in the current TA is a plus.
