A leading financial services company is seeking a Marketing Services Sr. Manager in Mexico to lead marketing strategy development for its brand. We are seeking a Marketing Services Sr. Manager to lead the development and execution of marketing objectives, strategies, and programs for Visa in Mexico. This role plays a pivotal part in partnering with clients to achieve both Visa’s and our clients’ business and brand goals.
You will work closely with a diverse group of partners, including financial institutions that issue Visa credentials, merchant sellers who accept Visa payments, fintech partners driving the growth of the payment ecosystem, and government stakeholders committed to advancing economic inclusion.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns, managing investment forecasts, measuring ROI, conducting data and insights analyses to guide decision-making, overseeing creative development and media planning, and influencing stakeholders with strong persuasion skills and executive presence. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 4 years of work experience with a PhD.
Proven experience in marketing communications, media, and/or trade marketing within a multinational company and with international brands. Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies and communications aligned to business objectives, and to execute programs that deliver measurable business and brand results. Experience managing, motivating, and collaborating with external advertising, promotional, and media agency partners. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies with impact. Strong financial acumen with experience using performance indicators to measure results, calculate ROI, forecast costs, revenues, and risks, and summarize complex business data for planning and decision-making. Advanced planning and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, while maintaining the ability to see and communicate the broader strategic picture. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable parts and identify the data and inputs required to solve them.
Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement, with an open and adaptable mindset toward problem-solving. Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders and cross‑functional teams. Experience structuring, managing, and coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders at various levels. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, initiative-driven approach to achieving results.
