NOV is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a global development team building cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will design, develop, and deploy modern apps while collaborating with international teams across the full software lifecycle.

Responsibilities include backend/frontend development, architecture input, automated CI/CD, and Azure deployments using containers and microservices, with opportunities in Generative AI projects.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent from Open Source projects.
• Advanced English proficiency; daily collaboration with international teams.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI and CoC principles.
• Experience building frontend apps with Vue 3 and/or React and TailwindCSS.
• SQL data modelling and high-performance queries in PostgreSQL and/or AzureSQL.
• Scripting/automation using PowerShell, n8n, or Azure Logic Apps.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions including validation, tests, security and deployment.
• IaC and configuration automation with Terraform and Ansible.
• Containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Azure Functions, Web Apps, API Management; Linux/WSL proficiency.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a global development team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.You will work closely with international teams and contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from technical design and architecture to production deployment.

What You’ll Have the Opportunity to do:

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent experience through Open Source projects.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and conversational, is required, as you will collaborate daily with international teams.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and development principles, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, and Convention over Configuration (CoC).
• Experience developing frontend applications with Vue 3 and/or React, using TailwindCSS.
• Experience designing data models and developing high-performance SQL queries using PostgreSQL and/or AzureSQL.
• Experience developing scripts and automations using PowerShell, n8n, and/or Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience building Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, including code validation, testing, security, and automated deployment processes.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot and Visual Studio Code as development tools.
• Experience managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation using Ansible.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing and implementing solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, and Azure API Management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu and Red Hat) and Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), including performance optimization and security.
• Strong knowledge of relational database modeling, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience using Azure AI Foundation, LangChain, LangGraph, or other frameworks for Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCP, AZ-204, AZ-400, or equivalent.
• Experience developing Internal Developer Platforms or Golden Paths.
• Knowledge of API First design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and GraphQL.
