ZF Group in El Salto, Mexico, is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst (Portfolio Controller) to analyze component and manufacturing costs for new products, prepare customer quotes, and study variances with cross-functional teams.

You will drive profitability analyses, support pricing decisions, and collaborate with Sales, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or related.
• 2+ years of experience in cost analysis, pricing, or controlling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
• SAP knowledge will be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complex pricing and profitability analyses supporting New Business Quotes (RFI, RFQ) and post-award cost changes.
• Drive project teams toward financial targets and identify potential cost gaps.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Program Managers, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other functions to validate cost assumptions in quotes.
• Analyze cost changes and recommend pricing adjustments to support business objectives.
• Work with Sales and Program Management to improve financial status of programs by analyzing results and variances.

This Job Role is part of Job Family \"Finance, Accounting and Controlling\" / Sub-Job-Family \"Functional Controlling\" and includes jobs primarily concerned with Strategic and operational controlling, cost analysis of operative processes and investments and the related management reporting, for a range of regional, functional organization units. This position is focus on analysis of costs for components and manufacturing process for the acquisition of new products. Preparation of customer quotes for new products & analysis of variances and interaction with functional teams to find cost opportunities.
Special Tasks: preparation of information for claims to customers (sales volume deviation, inflation, etc.).

What can you look forward to as Sr Financial Analyst (Portfolio Controller):

• Prepare complex pricing and profitability analyses supporting New Business Quotes (RFI, RFQ) and post award cost changes.
• Drive project team towards committed financial targets, anticipate & identify potential FCM, GMP, M-ROCE drops in an early stage, and support initiatives in case of cost gaps
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Program Managers, Manufacturing, Engineering and other functional areas to gather and question all cost assumptions used to prepare a quote.
• Analyze the impact of cost changes and recommend adjustments to pricing that will support business objectives and plans
• Work directly with Sales and Program Management to improve financial status of current and potential programs by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends and recommending appropriate actions
• Prepare price breakdowns which sales will use in customer communications
• Challenge the cost inputs used in the quotes, and the conventional methodologies to improve the process and develop new approaches
• Ensure the availability of relevant KPIs in the Program Management process from SOP to the EOP in collaboration with the functional areas.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or related.
• 2+ years of experience as Cost Analyst, Cost Estimator, Pricing Analyst, Controlling Analyst, Project Controller or related.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify cost-saving opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
• SAP Knowledge will be a plus
• Comfort with last minute deadlines and ambiguous situations
• Fluent English, German will be a plus
