Una empresa líder en el sector médico en Mexicali busca un Gerente de Mantenimiento para supervisar la operación de todas las instalaciones y sistemas. El candidato ideal debe tener una licenciatura en ingeniería, al menos 7 años de experiencia en mantenimiento y calibración, y un fuerte conocimiento en sistemas HVAC y eléctricos. Será responsable de liderar equipos técnicos y asegurar el cumplimiento con regulaciones relevantes. Se ofrece un paquete de beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT.

Formación

  • 7+ años de experiencia en mantenimiento y calibración, preferiblemente en la industria médica o electrónica.

Ensure that the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards.

This role will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance, calibration, and operational activities for building systems (including electrical, HVAC, utilities), as well as leading technical teams and managing infrastructure projects.

Strong experience in Facilities, Maintenance, Calibration, Electrical Systems, and HVAC is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly and that all building systems perform efficiently.
  • Define, plan, and implement maintenance, calibration, and operational programs for the facility.
  • Lead and supervise technical teams, including technicians and a maintenance supervisor.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, including CTPAT and CBP, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and manage the facility maintenance budget for three legal entities.
  • Ensure all manufacturing areas remain compliant and validated.
  • Lead environmental sustainability initiatives and energy cost-reduction programs.
  • Coordinate facility repair services and manage maintenance for building systems and forklifts.
  • Ensure proper communication with the landlord for projects requiring renovations or refurbishments, following lease agreements.
  • Maintain proper inventory of spare parts and materials using Max-Min inventory systems.
  • Ensure all utilities have sufficient capacity for current operations and projected growth.
  • Establish and manage preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
  • Support implementation of EHS, ISO, and local safety standards across all facilities.
  • Manage project execution, including infrastructure expansions and equipment installations.
  • Develop training plans for technical personnel and promote continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen).
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
Experiencia y requisitos
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Facilities, Maintenance, and Calibration—preferably in the medical or electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, utilities, and building automation systems.
  • Project management experience in facilities or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ISO, EHS, and CTPAT compliance.
  • Advanced English (required for interaction with global stakeholders and documentation).
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
