Formación

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer in Latin America.

In this role, you will lead initiatives to secure and optimize cloud-native applications while enabling continuous integration and deployment pipelines. You will work across development, operations, and security teams to implement robust automation, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance at scale. This position offers the opportunity to influence security architecture, streamline DevSecOps workflows, and integrate monitoring and observability into critical systems. You will collaborate with global teams in a fully remote environment, contributing to a culture of proactive security, reliability, and innovation across the organization.

Accountabilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across development and production environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security into all stages of the software lifecycle.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Optimize cloud-native infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Support incident response and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud security engineering.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure and security services.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in application security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
  • Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, collaboration, and communication across distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
  • Optional but beneficial: experience in incident response, threat modeling, or penetration testing certifications (CISSP, CEH, etc.).
