Nexaminds is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure with a focus on CI/CD, IaC, and container orchestration. Collaborate with engineering and infra teams to optimize deployments and reliability from Mexico, with remote work options.

You will lead automation, security, monitoring, and cost optimization while advancing best practices across cloud environments.

Qualifikationen

• 5-7 years of professional experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, or similar technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration such as Kubernetes, EKS, or ECS.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) and automation.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, access management, and monitoring.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaborative communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable, secure, and highly available apps.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Deploy, manage, and support containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability; proactively resolve issues.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, including access controls and network configurations.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering to improve deployment processes and efficiency.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
• Support scalability, disaster recovery, backups, and business continuity.
• Optimize AWS resource utilization and costs.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Document infrastructure configurations and deployment procedures.

Nexaminds is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices. This role will work closely with Software Engineering, Infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to optimize deployment processes, improve system reliability, and support the continuous delivery of cloud-based applications.

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams
