Job Description

Opportunity

The Sr. AMP Billing Analyst plays a critical role in achieving our overall objective of delivering best-in‑class financial reporting, service, and operations with respect to the billing and AMP (Pay Per Procedure) processes. Our operations have grown significantly over the past several years, especially with respect to our leasing business, which has increased the level of complexity. The Sr. AMP Billing Analyst analyzes and ensures that lease‑billing transactions, and billing functions for AMP agreements are executed timely, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality.

In addition to working closely with the Accounts Receivable Team, this role will work very closely with the accounting team that manages the back‑end operations relating to leases. Partnering with the AMP Billing Manager, AMP Process Optimization Team & Lease Accounting, this cross‑functional team will ensure that we achieve the highest level of financial reporting, provide the needed insight to manage the credit risk of our lease portfolio, and report on additional information needed to track and analyze our lease transactions. This role also offers a great opportunity to work closely with other groups outside of the Accounts Receivable department, including the Pricing team, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, IT, Customer Finance, Tax, and Sales, as well as external customers to ensure lease activities are accurately billed and collected. The cross‑functional interaction will allow you to develop a broad and deep understanding of our business and operations that are essential for strong career development.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Execute AMP Billing processes and deliver accurate, on‑time invoices to the customers.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end AMP Billing Process – contract reconciliation management, & monthly, quarterly AMP Billing at a global level.
  • Manage the US government billings process; including manual invoicing, PO discrepancies, collection issues, PO closeouts, receiving report follow‑up, and other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide support for all AdHoc billing activities for all invoice types and requests.
  • Identify process improvement needs for AMP Billing that will increase process efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the scalability of the accounting systems and financial reporting processes to enable a best‑in‑class back‑end process that provides best‑in‑class customer service.
  • Partner with the Collections Team & host customer calls to review billing dependencies and vendor setups.
  • Work closely with the Collections, Lease Accounting, Customer Success, and Customer Finance teams to ensure that billing is adequately analyzed and accurate.
  • Provide in‑depth reporting on our billing process that align with our annual goals.
  • Work closely with AR, Lease Accounting, and Tax to provide Customer Finance the information required to engage with the customer.
  • Assist with system design changes and perform user acceptance testing.
  • Support the Manager, Accounts Receivable & other leads in the Month‑end close processes.
  • Follow department and/or company project management standards.
  • Operate within the Global Finance Shared Services standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure SOX controls are rationalized and operating effectively.
  • Support internal and external auditor requests.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assist with non‑standard or ad‑hoc process questions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent.
  • 4+ years AR or accounting experience, or equivalent.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations through effective communication skills.
  • Experience with large ERP’s, such as SAP.
  • Ability and drive to continuously improve current processes and procedures.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate and drive results.
  • Ability to work productively in a dynamic environment and be a solutions‑oriented team player.
