Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Music Production Expert - Spanish (MX) for a remote contract role. You will evaluate AI-generated music across genres, label songs by key musical attributes, and review lyrics and vocals for quality.

The position requires 2+ years in music production or related fields and a high level of Spanish (MX) with strong English instruction-following ability. You’ll work independently and asynchronously, collaborating with AI research teams to improve training data and model outputs.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish (MX) and ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition (preferred).
• Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work (preferred).
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Spanish (MX) genres, sub-genres, and artists (preferred).
