A prominent sourcing company in Reynosa is looking for a Sourcing Buyer responsible for ensuring best prices, quality, and service from suppliers. The role includes evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and conducting market research. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English and hold a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field with 4 years of experience in the EMS industry. This position is full-time and in-person.

Formación

• 4 years of experience in EMS industry material sourcing or purchasing.
• Ability to conduct market research to identify emerging trends.
• Knowledge of cost-saving opportunities and supply continuity.

The Sourcing Buyer has principal responsibility to ensure best price, best quality, service, payment term and delivery term to meet customer demand.

Working closely with the supply base, they are accountable for supply continuity and costing in order to effectively meet both the customer's needs and our internal supply chain metrics.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers evaluations to supplier to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Regularly review and analyze sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact sourcing strategies.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs associated with procuring and distributing parts

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish / English is required
• Bachelor's degree as an Electronical Engineering or related Field
• 4 years of experience in EMS industry material Sourcing or Purchasing.
• Knowledge of ERP system, SAP is preferred
