Job summary

Spin is seeking a software engineer to collaborate in building small-scale components, APIs, and microservices. You will design, test, and deploy code within agile sprints, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

You will work on software lifecycle activities from conception to maintenance, with opportunities to learn from experienced engineers while growing your technical stack through diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI tools (GitHub Actions).
• Agile/Scrum process experience with Jira.

Responsibilities

• Assist on software solutions and document code behavior.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Management and DevOps in sprints.
• Write unit and integration tests; verify functionality.
• Maintain documentation on architectures and tools.
• Promote autonomous, proactive problem-solving in the team.
